What happens in a coaching session?

A typical session will start with a review and may contain the following elements:

  • What was accomplished since the last session?
  • What are you learning?
  • What didn’t get done?
  • Tweak the past plans to make them work better
  • What should be on the agenda for this session?
  • Create plans to tackle new agenda items
  • Set up feedback mechanisms for new behaviours
  • Set goals for the coming week or month
